Stuff like work ethic are more important and constantly explain more of total variance when evaluating parameters like academic success. Additionally your reasoning is very very dangerous. If cognitive abilities determine who is allowed to vote then we as humans won’t be voting at all in a few decades lol. Just consider that AI is catching up to us and will be smarter than we are. Definitely agree. Im sitting at 140 IQ ish which is about top 0.5%. Yet I have adhd and thus could never study at all. My academic performance was extremely mid besides math. Now I take meds and notice how much putting in the hours is worth. IQ amplifies your results but doesn’t create them ex nihilo.
