Everyone should inculcate a habit of reading newspaper/watching news imo

Title. Reading the news for almost a decade everyday has kept me well informed and knowledgable across a wide range of topics. Its a part of my routine. Immediately after going to the gym or a run. I pick up that day's newspaper and read it over breakfast everyday. I agree media houses are sometimes agenda serving and biased but it's better to stay informed with biases than being an ignorant fool who doesn't have a view point at all. It's important for a wise person to seek for knowledge about the world around him

I think NYT is only good for reporting tbh. They are sometimes very biased in their articles.

It's good to read to know what ((they)) want you to think. If you're aware of the obvious biases in their reporting, it isn't hard to cross-check with other news sources.
