Even tho it sounds autistic, we for one know and are close to actually simulating society in a computer with artificial intelligence

And for study purposes those societies wouldn’t know they were in a simulation

We also know if we simulated humanity 1 to 1 you can make a simulation in a simulation

just the fact of that being possible makes our odds of being the actual first civilisation very low. There are actually higher odds we are a running simulation than actual first people.

No scientists can prove we aren’t in a simulation. In fact many of them agree the odds are higher.
