So now that all of my grandparents have passed except one (grandpa on dad’s side) who was kind of a deadbeat in a way to him and just overall the best way to describe him according to my dad was that he didn’t have much integrity..like after my grandma on my dad’s side passed away months ago, literally a few days or so after she passed my grandpa got a girlfriend. no funny shit This actually happened and it’s just fucking silly.
Anyway, how this all tied into a reason is because I have to do a family history project for school where I need interviews from people in my family. N so imma try to interview him but when I do it Imma try to make him reconcile with my dad. although it Might be hard because like back in the 80’s my dad’s uncle who was gay but treated my dad like his son in a way better than his own dad. But then my dad’s uncle got HIV (which later turned into AIDs) and died and when the funeral came around only like one or two of my dad’s uncles showed up at the funeral, and my grandpa (the brother of my dad’s uncle who was gay) didn’t show up to his brother‘s own funeral.
