economics is just engineering, finance is engineering, biology is engineering, engineering is engineering.

noone gives two shits aboiut muh math muh analytical skills muh education. companies just want an engineer or computer guy who knows 3 programming languages and can make self improving alogirthms to boost productivity and make life easier.

degrees like physics or math are complete utter trash. jfl at wasting time learning shit like number theory or quantum mechanics when the money is at building machine learning models.

i wasted like 12 year studying worthless useless shit that didnt get me any job and now i ahve reached the point where studying feels like self harm. meanwhile enginneers need 1 degree to make money.

if i dont get a job in 6 months i will quit my PhD and will take entry exams to be an engineer. i wil have my degeee by 36 and noone will hire me even then but at least i will have proven something.
