Red meat is like DHT

It might be good for developing and growing, but once you’re an adult it becomes pretty much useless, if not detrimental to your health

You don’t have to completely cut it out, but you should ideally want to limit red meat intake as you get older to maintain good health and longevity

DHT is essential for stabilising mood in males, the body is not some monolith where every hormone is trash or holy grail, only thing i can think of in the body that is trash is chronically elevated cortisol,prolactin and estrogen

I actually think the b5 deficiency caused by "DHT steal" is the main cause. Someone with high DHT would prolly not face any problems if they supplemented high amounts of b5.

there was an interesting paper i read recently about how it all ties together, b5 is important for sex hormone synthesis as well as acetyl coa (used for fatty acid oxidation) and skin health. if youre genetically predisposed to high DHT , you are at risk of consuming b5 at a much higher rate, and so DHT indirectly causes acne and baldness but i dont think it needs to be demonised. Its like running your game at 4k and then blaming computer fofr dropping below 60 fps, either lower the graphics or improve the hardware (which in case of the body cant be done rn)

All the studies around beef being cancer risk are incredibly unconvincing. There's been some things saying it might do the opposite. It's incredibly hard to even define what they mean by "red meat" because it could be anything from grass fed steak to a fucking BigMac. Average person who eats red meat also drinks alcohol, doesn't have the best sleep habits, is habitually stressed, sedentary, unhappy, etc. There's so many things that could be cofactors. In short those studies are useless. There's clear agenda towards veganism too in recent years.

It's physically impossible for anyone to eat that ammount of cheese and burgers a day. That's like 8000-10000 calories a day.

Even if that article is misleading, that is irrelevant. Basically every study on red meat consumption says the same thing. It can be harmful when consumed excessively and is a predictor of numerous diseases. The only people who disagree with this are butter dipping carnivotards
