Same. Still can't figure out wtf is actually going on but this film did an amazing job at world building and creating distinct cultures.

Everything just looked amazing.

Although the kid playing the main role looks like a squirrel. Couldn't bust a grape and they have him 'defeating' the BBC in a duel! Far more unbelievable than that giant worm living underground.

Totally understand how it is hard to follow. You really have to read the book to understand the film, and then you appreciate how they tried to keep close to the spirit of the book.
