So mewing with the front of the tongue creates facial upswing and mewing with the back third of the tongue will lead to a longer midface but better under eye support and zygos? Am I understanding this correct?

Btw I’ve been into mewing since 2014. And the consensus on this is everywhere

Btw when I first started mewing in 2014 I did it the “incorrect way” with mewing with the front part of tongue only and only on the front palate,and I realize that’s when I looked my best and midface the most compact

It wasn’t till like 2019 when I started to mew with back third and my midface got longer

Obviously if you push up on the back of your maxilla in a upwards force it will rotate it the opposite way you want it to go, giving you a longer midface

it’s so dumb we’ve been told this whole time to press so much and emphasize back of tongue when i think it may have made things worse for some ppl

idk i’ve been trying to new properly for 5 years. my conclusion is it doesn’t really do much of anything
