Is azelaic acid a meme or is it actually really beneficial? Dermatologist never mentioned it but I’ve been using it for a week now. It burns on application but it’s helping to fade red marks and hyperpigmentation and improving texture. Purchased it from amazon it’s called melazepam because my doctor said it wasn’t that commonly prescribed.

i have read people use azelaic acid for hair regrowth too? anyone use it and see benefit?

I use it for skin its great for PIE.

What else is good for pigmentation for someone with fair/pale skin,

lactic acir or mendelic acid?

Or vitamin C?
Vitamin C is good but use it at a different time from your retinoids if you can

I tried Vit C tbh it’s good but it didn’t fade my marks

I will use retin A this summer I will start with 0.25% twice a week

Because retional is useless retin A is 100X stronger than retional

You should apply sunscreen everyday regardless wether you use retin A or AHA or not
