I have decided that I am going to risk my eye area by purposefully causing damage to the skin around the eyes to see if it will have a positive aesthetic boost.

Basically, my goal is to try and attain "tear burns". Tear burns (or tear stains, tear scars, etc) are marks around the eyes, usually caused by tears and the rubbing of the eyes when crying, causing friction burns. In reality, the tears themselves are not contributing much to this equation, but more so the fact the rubbing of the eyes causing this sort of look. This can cause discoloration in the form of red, pink, and brownish hues around the eye area. Here are examples:

1759369862804
1759369906725
1759369931685
1759369942633
1759370096309

(Notice the slight discoloration around the eyes?)

I am going to achieve this by rubbing the outer corners of my eyes along with maybe the upper half of the bottom eyelid. I will do this to mimic me wiping away tears, which is what causes this look. I will do this for a few minutes every day, maybe in the morning and night but probably just at night at the start.

Now, onto the reasoning for why I am doing this:

1.) First of all, I just think it looks good. As many point out online (and I have seen someone with it in person which elevated their looks), it can look like a sort of natural eyeliner or eyeshadow. Basically it can look like very light eye makeup depending on how drastic or what color it turns out to be.

2.) Secondly, I want to experiment. I want to see if this will work and if it will enhance my looks. Obviously this may damage my eye region and cause bad aging later on and visually displeasing aesthetic changes in the present, but I am willing to risk it if it can enhance my eye area.

3.) Thirdly, it gives off that "sad" or "dead" eye look. I'm already leaning into this aesthetic naturally with my slightly NCT'ed (not extreme but slightly noticeable), straight/slightly positively tilted eyebrows, and sanpaku eyes. This COULD potentially ENHANCE my eye area and cause me to appeal more to a niche category of women and society that has a thing for the dead eye look.
I decided that because I am genetically wired to be in this category of looks, I might as well play into it the best I can.

I am not ethnic, which usually makes them look worse in my opinion. I am ethnically a white/northern Persian mainly, but with a solid chunk of Italian with some Irish.

Should I go through with this? Would you guys want updates and maybe even photos of how the progress goes along if I choose to do this?

Sounds interesting, if you've got the coloring for this (pink skin) then do it, I don't see any major risks involved.

Nice idea!

Yea its not bad idea
U can achieve it with latisse and betamethasone on ur eyelids
I think u should also dye ur lashes and brows to get better eye area coloring

From what I see, it seems to work well if you have white skin and green or some other strong colored eyes to create contrast with that pinkish or black tone you want to achieve.

Yeah I have pink undertones so this should work nicely if done properly. Only worry is damage to the skin that causes a bad aesthetic change but other than that, it should go well

I may look into latisse as someone else also suggested it in another thread. I might use it while doing this
