Everyone, myself included, initially got triggered by the fact that he didn’t undergo jaw osteotomies. However, as I translated above in response to a similar comment, Dr. Zavattero explained that orthognathic surgery was deemed too risky for his anatomical situation with fewer guarantees of success. Sure, you might think the doc didn’t have the balls to handle such a complex case, but we don't have the tools to judge his decisions. It’s better to ask @RealSurgerymax why Dr. Zavattero might have made that call.

As for the OBO, yeah, it would be perfect for him and would make him ascend so hard, but he’s already gone through a reverse Kafka metamorphosis—from being seen as a deformed subhuman insect to someone who can definitely go outside without getting weird stares.
