Has anyone here ever got laser depigmentation, thinking about getting it in a year or so but the color looks so unnatural

Would i be better off frauding with contacts?

Looks wired on most people, since like you said it produces unnatural colors. There are also obvi risk to your eyes just to get sus coloring.

True but it’s a good procedure for white people with brown eyes, even Mediterranean.

Potentially, but I wouldn’t be optimistic unless you had a grandparent with light eyes.

These lasers can’t even seem to turn dark brown eyes into light brown eyes, they just destroy the pigment in the eyes and create this very dull bluey grey colour. It seems that beautiful blue, green or even light brown is far more complex than removing pigment. I think in some cases (light brown / green) it’s to do with the presence of pheomelanin, not just the absence of eumelanin.

I have a hypothetical method for lightening it, but it’s not something any random greycel can do. It would involve an intracameral injection done by an experienced professional to avoid glaucoma or any other ophthalmic issues. If I ever have some spare millions lying around I’d look into it more lol.

Most likely nothing, because the whole point of this procedure is to remove melanin in your eyes which causes having a darker iris

Even if you have blue or green eyes you still typically have some degree of brown freckleing. So it’s kind like having your soul cleaned. Just not sure if it’s aesthetically superior like it is spiritually superior.

Yea, the stroma structure matters a lot in determining eye color aswell. Looser collagen causes blue light to scatter and if theres no melanin to absorb the light you get blue eyes.
Looser collagen in the stroma + minimal melanin = blue eyes
Denser collagen in the stroma + minimal melanin = grey eyes
looser collagen in the stroma + moderate pheomelanin(blue light scatters through the yellow pigment) blue + yellow = green eyes

Thats why some people that go through this procedure end up with grayer eyes and some end up with bluer eyes due to the stroma structure.

The main thing that makes laser depig ass besides the unpredictability is that its not precise enough to destroy all the pigment uniformly causing a really blurry appearance to your eyes

nothing will happen to the blue most likely but the green will get lighter
