6ft 162lbs - usually go out with zero carbs/zero sodium/no creatine just keto basically, decided I’d do 150g carbs/zero sodium/with creatine and I usually get good looking girls but last weekend was disaster and got some average/ugly girls so I dunno wtf went wrong…

Anyone who has experience with face bloat - would your guys face bloat with creatine or 150g carbs?

how do you know it's your bloat causing these issues?

I think it doesnt matter, if those carbs arent strachy. Sometimes you pick gl girls, sometimes not.

I just drink a lot of water and coffee, eat 3 or 4 banana and carrot. For me most of the blot goes away after the second cup of coffee but for the maximum ‘muhh hollow cheeks’ I gotta eat at least 2 bananas and drink a liter of water.

Creatine bloats incredibly.
Sodium bloats when your Na/K ratio is fucked up. If you are not measuring Na i assume you are not doing so with K as well so i can not say if that is the case. 150 carbs is not so much, but i usually stick to 100 and look as unbloated as i can be.

From my experience the basics of a bloat free face are
-Na/K of 1/2 or smaller. Ideally 1/3.
-net carbs <100(ideally <70)
-Na itself around 1g. That means 2.5g of salt. As long as there are no variations Na does not affect bloat that much.

There was one study with a guy who had some medical problems(severe hypothyroidism paired with impaired renal function) and throughout a year of treatment where a lot of his values changed his Na remained the same.
The body is exceptional in maintaining adequate levels of Na.
Not so much so for K.
So lets say 2 identical twins, both eat same ammount of Na but the one with more K intake will look leaner. (Assuming all else equal, fat, muscle mass, etc)

Which you think bloats face more? Sodium or carbs? I’ve noticed sodium fuks me a lot harder than carbs m

I can not give an honest answer. They are connected though. Insulin levels dictate sodium retention so if you raise insulin by eating carbs you also are predisposed to retain more water and sodium. But why overthink it? You will stress and raise cortisol and that also is a bloat promoter

Then I can’t workout if I want a lean face as that raises cortisol, fuck I can’t even wake up otherwise I’ll raise cortisol…

Water retention caused by creatine is largely intramuscular, not in the face.
Yeah sorry but no, read as many studies as you want about it being intracellular but it’s bs…
