Face lift to prevent loose skin?

I don’t see why the concept of a face lift can’t be applied to younger patients. I have loose skin around my jaw and chin, and look much better when laying down because the skin is pulled back. Why don’t people with loose skin get lower facelifts to create tight skin that mimics forward growth?
