Saw a thread on BOTB (thread link) and I was wondering if I should make it at home with a little help from my local orthodontist/dentist.
I'm 18 (2007 october) and as I'm aware my maxilla is already fully developed (to the deepest recessions in mumbai khmkhm) in means of bone growth. My upper palate and teeth are cooked so I'm already planning on a Palate Expander + Braces when I'm old and have the money for it, but should I start using a device like that till then or will it just fuck my maxilla up even more and cause more harm than good before the palate expander? Also I don't want to waste any money if it's useless in this age, and haven't even thought about how will I explain it to my parents ("I can't breath through my nose when I sleep" could be an explanation ig). I'm open to any suggestions and replies, as usual repping the useful ones. I would wear it during my sleep + at night when I'm in my room.
Also please don't call me a grey for asking, I know it already, don't waste your post count on bs like that.
Have a great day
