Repetitive muscle contractions cause your skin to wrinkle. Regularly giving your facial muscles a “workout” will only speed up the process, increasing the chances you’ll get wrinkles sooner. You might see temporary results from facial workouts if your muscles hypertrophy (i.e. they get bigger, stretching out your skin), but the results won’t last. This effect is temporary and will only produce more wrinkles and make wrinkles you already have worse.

I took the effort to look it up. On research.

First thing that popped up.

"Conclusions: The evidence to date is insufficient to determine whether facial exercises are effective for facial rejuvenation. Evidence from large randomized controlled trials will be needed before conclusions can be drawn.

Results: Although positive outcomes were achieved in all 9 studies, none of the studies used a control group and randomization process. They were single case reports, small case series, or studies with a single-group pretest-posttest design. Moreover, the effectiveness assessments in most of the studies were purely subjective, carried out by the authors and/or the patients themselves, without blinding. "

2nd thing that popped up.

" Conclusion: It cannot be concluded that facial exercises are effective. More systematic research is needed.

Results: Only one significant difference was found between the control and experimental group. In the experimental group, the picture after therapy of the upper lip was more frequently chosen to be the younger-looking one by the panel. "

Maybe next time. add the research links. That support your claim or what you found. The only thing I get from doing a quick search, is that they say it can't be said it helps.

not sure why facial exercises get such a bad rep here. theoretically a well toned face will always look and be healthier than a sagged one. hard gymcels automatically have one and it looks good. what is with this 40 year old foid tier obsession with wrinkles? many chads have some like bateman or eastwood. and you can get tretinoin and red light for them tbhtbh

It ages you and if you look older, you look worse. It's that simple. *Wrinkles*
