On this site, they’ll say many theories are extreme, but as always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
The studies shared here, along with common behavior across all societies, show that we still respond to deep, primal instincts. No matter how "civilized" we are, those impulses never really go away.

Terms like “beta bucks” and “alpha fucks” just simplify a truth: a man who builds a family becomes a protector and provider. A woman will stay loyal if she doesn’t see better options, whether financially or sexually. Most women will get tempted, especially when they’re bored and their needs are met. That’s when the risk of cheating rises.
Infact, ironically, in toxic relationships where women invest more emotionally, cheating happens less, because they’re focused on manipulating the man to get resources. If he gives little, she holds on to the "family plan."

On the other hand, healthier couples are better at resisting base instincts. They build a bond, stay engaged, and share more time, so they get bored less often. But at the end of the day, one thing stays the same:
We all respond to biological instincts, some more, some less.

So what’s the point?
Start a family if you get the chance. Don’t obsess over whether she might cheat or get bored, or to use tactics, or so. Be yourself. If she disrespects you, move on. You might end up co-parenting with her while living with someone else. That’s life, that’s fine.
This community isn’t here to make you fail. Fix your SMV, don’t wait to be perfect, fail forward. Look for red flags, but don’t chase perfection. If you manage a 5 to 10 year relationship with a child, you’ve done a lot. You’ve become a parent, and now you’re free to enjoy life and new connections with other women.

But there are three pillars you must build first:

  1. Finances – Enough to support yourself and a small family, even after a breakup.
  2. Home – A place of your own where you're truly independent.
  3. Health – Mental and physical strength, third on the list, but really comes first.

Once you have these three pillars, storms can come, but your temple stays standing.
