FAILED HAIR TRANSPLANT! I need help, it looks terrible...

GOT A HAIR TRANSPLANT FROM ISTANBUL, TURKEY. FROM "CAPIL CLINIC"

Hair transplant date - February 25th, 2022. It has been about exactly 10 months post transplant now.

Supposedly 3000 grafts. They used the "CHOI PEN" procedure.

The hair look so brittle and weak. They lack density? Maybe they didn't grow in properly?

Something about my hairline is so unsettling. I think they made it too straight and the hair just seems empty? So many open spaces in between. Doesnt look natural.

The temples look weird. Not done properly. Definitely need a revision

What do I do? Are there any suggestions for better surgeons in Turkey? Better more reputable places who do good work? Do I need a second operation for more density? Better hairline design? Fill in the temples more? It looks so terrible. The worst part is they look so different to my other hairs on my head. I cant really do a proper hairstyle or "use" my new hairline. It looks so thin and burnt.

Obv someone that knows a lot about hair transplants or has a general interest in that department (i.e: incels or bald copers) will be able to tell from first glance that you had a HT, but the average joe and women will likely not have a clue

Its not the best result; but its not bad either. He def gave you a lower hairline that still looks natural instead of uncanny valley. I'd say its all good pal . Mogs the average result. Don't obsess over it; its a better result than most hair transplants (and guys do keep in mind; the before and after surgeons show you are photoshopped and their 'best' results)

Right now you're at that post surgery phase where you are expecting things to workout but are surprised that they aren't. You will reach the acceptance phase soon but you gotta wait it out. Don't send panic emails to your surgeon or hateful shit. Just wait it out. Trust me this doesn't look bad at all.

Okay, so what do you suggest I tell the surgeon?

Did they not fill in my temples? They were literally students. Not even a doctor or professional. It was a group of young adults in Turkey listening to music and chatting while using this pen and injecting it into my scalp.

Where can I go to get more density and a more filled temple?

I think they stiffed me, and put way less than 3000 grafts. they used a "choi pen" procedure. so is that not as good, aesthetically?

Go to dr. Sever Mureseanu. He is the best in creating natural hairlines.



By the looks of it you have a lot of double grafts in front of your hairline, thats why it looks off.

Does putting gel or product in your hair make it look any better? It looks brittle and weak because the sebaceous glands were removed when they were harvesting your grafts.

I'd personally only get a transplant from Dr. Juan Couto (super overbooked and relatively expensive) or Dr. Rafael de Freitas. I've looked at a lot of hair transplants and they seem to produce the most consistent results. I'm sure there are other good surgeons out there potentially in Turkey but I ain't cheaping out on hair.

It's because hairs on the very front of the hairline usually are feathered and do not look pluggy like your results, it doesnt look natural fur us spotters, but i wouldnt say you got botched, because people will probably not notice it.

To be honest this is really solvable if you find any surgeon that's up to implant body hairs to feather your hairline. temple hairs and very front hairs are usually thinner and your hair despite balding on front, is overall very thick, that's why ended up kinda unnatural, but certainly better than balding.

btw, this procedure that they use body hairs to enhance the hairline is called hairline feathering

Most hair transplants look like absolute dogshit compared to this. You should be happy tbh, at least if you really looked like you were balding before.

Usually people who get a hair transplant just look like they're balding instead of just being completely bald, making them look infinitely worse. You actually look like you just have a mature hairline now.

The hairline isn’t supposed to be a perfect straight line in reality it’s ever so slightly jagged in the front as well as the corners of a natural hairline are never that sharp.

Also that does not look like 3000 grafts unless your starting point was horrible

I know that HT hair can grow long, however in your case perhaps due to its thin nature, you should go shorter.

It is bad if it really is 3000 grafts thats basically his entire donor region gone for a result that easily could have been better
