Family is asking what if it goes wrong?

Recently opened up to my family about my insecurities in regards to my looks and been seeing a therapist as well. My mom actually is thinking about helping me fund surgery to improve my face, but she asked me what if this goes wrong? What will u do? She said since u already feel this way about ur body, what if u make it worse somehow with the surgery. How do u know it will help your insecurities. How do I respond to her?

tell her the exact reasoning you used to decide on those surgeries in the first place?
Get your own money if your that worried about it

Just list what the complications are, and the complication rate is.

Generally the most common are the least problematic. IE swelling. By the time your 5-6 in, shell start zoning out and you just end it.

It is a valid concern. It can go wrong. It’s not likely but it can happen.

Plan for every outcome, you have to be ready for it, if it does go wrong.
