I'm not sure if I'm using the right technical terms since I only started researching this about 15 minutes ago lol, but by perioral mounds, I mean the fat pads at the corners of the lips.

What I have looks almost exactly like this only worse, and it's only on the right side of my mouth.

It's that kind of line that turns downward and makes it look like I'm frowning.

I'd be willing to try fat dissolvers since it's such a small area, or anything else people can recommend.

A lot of surgeons seem to say it's caused by aging, but I'm still pretty young, so that doesn't really seem likely.

@MyDreamIsToBe183CM (tag anyone else who know about ts)

Also if anyone gives me a good answer i'll mark solution

Those are smile lines yea

fat dissolvers can help but you need a lot of sessions, @Orc did them for nasiolabal folds or smile lines and saw results but it took him a fuckton of sessions. @chadbeingmade too

i have a similar problem and i've been looking into it too. sometimes it can be caused by muscular imbalance or overuse of certain facial muscles like the orbicularis oris or depressor anguli oris (which is probably what I have) from what ive read if the muscle is slightly overdeveloped or tight on one side, it can push or drag the soft tissue in a way that mimics fat buildup or a frown line. u should consider seeing someone who specializes in facial structure and function like a myofunctional therapist or a med spa that actually understands muscle dynamics not just aesthetics like plastic surgeons

Yeah i'll look into that

The problem with med spas is they charge you 10x the value of the shit you're actually getting (and i'm too young to go to those anyways)

Mabey i'll cope with facial exercises :feelswhy:

Thank for information tho :chad:

Did you find a solution?
Fat dissolvers technically should work, seeing as the perorial mounds are fat pads, but it would take multiple treatments.

i'm just going to ignore it for right now because it's barely a failio but some time in the future when I have more money i'll try to get a few bottles of aqualyx and try to fix it.

Wouldn't dropping down to 8% bf also effect it in some way? BTW The Mounds are usally only visable only when I cheek bite, is it just always there for you?

I’m already single digit body fat, it’s always there for me and I have no idea what caused it lol, probably just gravity from sleeping or something lol

My smile lines ruin my look so much, I was never keen on using fat dissolvers though because i thought it would fuck up my face brutally the older i get
