fat grafting under eyes

I have shit malar fat pads and horrid under eye fat which has me wondering if it's possible to transfer my malar fat to my under eyes, if so what is the procedure called and how much would it approximatively cost?

Shouldn't you inject it when you  are low bodyfat?
I thought better quality fat was to do with % chance success of it remaining, not with if it would stay when lower body fat

Because the fat remains, but the size of the fat increases or decreases as you change bodyfat

What % would be ideal to get grafting @chrishell , where you can benefit from:
1. survival
2. low risk complication
3. your undereyes won't look swollen if you gain 10% body fat later in your life and your fat cells increase in size

I don't know the answer to your question

but WRT op. Im assuming you mean buccal rather than malar fat because very few people (namely some MENA populations and Balkans) actually have an excess of malar fat. You can indeed have buccal fat taken out and put into your undereyes but this will likely not suffice and some fat will need to be taken from elsewhere on the body too

Yes, but you need to understand that people often have different fat distribution. Some people have a very thin body, but their face seems plumper and vice versa
It is very common that people gain weight but the fat is deposited not in the area under the eyes, but more on the cheeks, this happens quite often

I think 10-16% bf is ideal
I think good survival is very high in all cases.
This procedure is quite easy but the surgeon must still be well trained. This needs to be discussed with the surgeon, I wouldn't be afraid to slightly refill the area under the eyes if you really have a problem with this area. The chance that something will go wrong is very small.
I think ur undereys wont be swollen if u gain 10% bf. This will of course affect your eyes, but it's the same as if a person who always had good undereyes just gained weight. Also in the morning when you are really bloated your eyes can remind you of an asian, but you just have to accept it. Either this way or bad undereyes.

Well, bear in mind the lower your body fat, the more challenging it will be to harvest the deposits needed. Also don't forget when you gain weight, your body proportionately distributes fat all over your body, so if you come in leaner than normal and then regain weight later on your eye area will become even fatter.

I'm still in the research phase of potentially getting this done and I plan in on coming in at my usual body weight, lean-ish but not ripped at all.

I spoke to my surgeon about this and he said if you’re low body fat % then it is not really a problem to harvest fat, he said it’s rare that they are unable to harvest enough fat due to someone being too lean. This of course is not true if you’re sub 8% body fat, then you’re probably too lean, but above 10% and you should be fine.
