If you’re on a diet, and you’ve plateaued on weight loss for 3-4 weeks now, no matter how much you’ve tried
I have good news for you.
As you’re on a diet, your body will be under stress. Due to being in a calorie deficit, its survival instinct is to hold on to fecal matter and hold on to water, most of the times 5 pounds of fecal matter, and 3-5 pounds of water.
You are still losing fat, that’s the good news. However you will feel like you’ve plateaued and if you want to see the results. Here’s a tip
Re-feed yourself, giving yourself a calorie high day once you’ve plateaued will put your body out of stress, and it will release the water it was holding onto, aswell as fecal matter.
Oh, or just STARVE yourself until your maintenance comes down to the calorie deficit you originally put yourself into (will fuck your hormones)
This thread is also to explain why your body might feel tight the morning after a calorie high day, after being in a calorie deficit.
Oh also, this should be done very rarely and should be done to give you more motivation if you have the mental capacity of a 13 year old, or 2 days before a main event.
