Fear of moving

My plans to travel to another country (Spain/Portugal/Brazil) and see if I can move are still there, but I'm going crazy because I fear loneliness. My social circle here is shitty but at least it exists. In another country I would know no one. And I didn't find anyone who want to go with me.

It's brutal, I really need to go as I have nothing good here in Germany and no motivation to stay, but I know it will be a hard change.

How do you even meet new people in this day and age, in the old days you could just approach them and talk to them, it was socially acceptable, now everyone is on their phones, lots of "third places" have simply disappeared, how can a person from another city or country meet new people if he moves there and knows no one?

Spontaneously moving to another location mostly only works for women.Whereas for men ,especially as an average
Single guy, people often will not take an easy liking to you right off the bat unless you prove yourself otherwise idk
hard to explain but its almost as if Society sees single men as threats that can go off the rails at any moment and will give
you stranger/danger vibes

OP is sort of right in overthinking whether or not to move because as a single guy there's often a lot of unanticipated

It's easier to interact with new people from different countries because as I said they don't know anything your past and this should be a mental help for you
