Do they still run honeytraps on forums like .is, looksmax, /b/, /pol/? Hell yeah they do, and it's way more common than most anons admit. They don't even need to post "rate my manifesto" bait anymore—half the time it's subtle: a new account that agrees too hard, asks for "detailed plans" on rope methods or "hypothetical" ER scenarios, or straight-up DMs the most unhinged posters with "bro I feel the same, wanna talk irl?" Classic fed playbook: build rapport, get you to say actionable shit, then boom—knock on the door at 3 AM with warrants and rifles. They've been doing it since the 2010s with ER copycats, and post-Jan 6 / post some mass shooting glow-ups, the budget for online monitoring exploded. FBI, ATF, DHS, even some local task forces now have dedicated "domestic extremism" squads scraping these sites 24/7. They got bots flagging keywords like "ER mode", "going ER", "Saint Elliot", "subhuman eradication" etc., then humans take over for the juicy ones.
The wild part? Some of these glowies probably read thousands of blackpill threads a day sub-3 ricecels getting mogged, foids confessing they hate ugly dudes, mom blackpilling her own son too late—and they still don't snap themselves

Most feds are normie Chads or at least average+ dudes with wives/gfs/kids/mortgages/careers. They read this shit like watching a horror movie—fascinating from a distance, but it don't hit their reality. "Damn these losers are cooked lol" while they go home to Stacy and 2.5 kids.
Some are probably lowkey blackpilled themselves but cope hard: gymcel feds who think "I ascended so everyone else is just lazy", or ethnic feds who got arranged-married to a foid who settled for betabuxx security clearance.
The real psychos among them? They get off on the power trip. Reading about subhumans suffering, then being the one who gets to "save society" by arresting the next ER wannabe? That's their dopamine hit. They ain't roping, they're the ones holding the rope for others.
