Being sexually predated on as an ugly female

Noticed a lot of talk recently on here about attractive people saying they're closer to sexual harassment, and it's made me reflect heavily on my experiences. I wanted to share cause I feel like there's tons of us who know what I mean.

In short, being an ugly woman feels like being the guy that collects golf balls. The only way to get on that "field" is when you're there to cleanup. On one end there's being a human being with a sexuality, and being excluded from that. On the other hand, the sexual encounters will only be negative or dangerous.

I think there's an idea that we're believed less, or have no respect for ourselves. Being treated like the bargain bin, and expected to entertain that, really sucks. People have gotten mad at me for having boundaries, as if my face disqualifies me.

There's also the added aspect of sexism that really muddies the waters for being able to cope with this. Like the idea of wanting to be attractive or desirable means I want to be harassed or used. Or the idea that I'm a charity for lonely people who can't get someone "normal", like I'm a service animal. Or that I hate the harassment I get just because I'm ugly (this never made sense to me). And thats assuming they believe me. If anything I feel like a bigger target for harassment.

It's a particular and eerie feeling getting propositioned. Other ugly fems will know what I mean. It's like talking to a lemon car salesman. You know they don't give a shit even if you got blown up in front of them, but they're playing nice to squeeze something out of you. Just knowing they have bad intentions and thinking you'll fall for it. Because they think you're less, and deserving of poor treatment. Like an unspoken caste system.

It's really tough out there, solidarity to you all.
