They both started their careers bald so they had time to adjust to it. Aggressive hairloss in the middle of your prime = massive confidence/smv loss

Norwood Reaper adds another victim to his list. He is also a very, very rare case of a mentalcel Chad so it's a very big deal for him. I theorize he had a very late puberty and didn't have many friends or a girlfriend until way later so his social skills suffered.
