at 4 months you COULD see physical effects of finasteride acting on the hair but, it can take up to a year to see results. I would suggest to continue the treatment if you are still fully aware of the side effects and prepared to face them. If you see no improvement, consult to whoever prescribed you it. Honestly, I would go and consult with the provider now, since at 4months you should see somewhat of an improvement.

nope, and while most of your hair is in anagen, theres a sizeable minority of hair in later cycles that might shed which may give u the impression of hair loss

wait a year theres no way ur hair doesnt get better on fin if u have mpb

If your below the age of 25 and are balding, chances are you have aggressive balding and your gonna end up nw3+, so its better to take the chance with dut, it will save you lot of donor hair from getting wasted if you end up doing a transplant in the future, plus dut also helps in preventing collagen loss as well so thats a plus.
The sides are managable in my opinion and its worth the downsides, if you get a weak erection you can just pop viagra, but hair once lost is gone forever in most cases.

why would the donor area be gone? its hair that is dht resistant

dht plays a bigger role than just erection quality and even here viagra does not help for the majority of people who get bad erections from fin/dut

You are correct about dht playing a bigger role, but most of it is mental and can be managed i.e its not really dangerous, you get used to the change in mood over time as your body adjusts to the low dht levels

u should do as much for health as possible to avoid sides

eat healthy with good fats and protein on a caloric surplus, dont fap as often, dont watch porn, lift weights, take vitamin d+k2, magnesium, zinc etc

No I didn’t mean that, I mean eating healthy and boosting your test enough to be healthy.

I had really bad depression and suicidal thoughts due to low T and low DHT, johnson stopped working and felt like shit overall.

I was starving myself and drinking alcohol every weekend and smoking and eating junk and not training.

Had to fix diet, slow down smoking and stopped drinking, got back to the gym and did some stuff to boost my T and now everything is back to normal.

But it’s really something that you need to focus on when using DHT blockers, If I let myself go for 1/2 weeks i’ll get those sides again.

I started taking it orally. I bought the solution for women with 2% strength. First two weeks one drop. Then two weeks two drops. Then 1 drop of the 5% liquid and after two weeks two drops from the 5%.


Maybe I avoided the shedding this way.

I think that my fapping/porn is the reason for my balding since 14 all over the scalp+ receding hairline. I have no mpb in my family before 50/60s traced back 4 generations. Baldest guy is my grandfather with a nw2.5 and a bald spot at the back at 75. Everyone else is between nw0-nw2
