Final sanity check prior to surgery

So - I have surgery slotted this coming week with Dr. Pagnoni for infraorbital implants.

Has anyone had this type of surgery go wrong? Cause irreparable damage?

Any reason I should back out now?

I find Dr. Pagnoni intelligent and trustworthy, and the implants are conservative. But I’m getting some cold feet after reading threads that this op is high risk.

- implant reveal given thin skin

- future implant reveal as one ages

You forgot, if its saddled it can cause tear on the eye septum risking blindness and eye sight problem.

Infection or future infection

Sagging of the midface as the skin cant reattach the same to implant.

Future fat graft will have worse blod supply and higher risk of lumps

Misplacement of the implant

Not placing implant at all

chronic tearing if it extends to close to the nose

Sagging of the lower eyelid, schleral show

Ridicoulous price, i def hope he will do some work around aswell. Like a face lift type to not cause the skin sagging etc. Something more must be in that price tag else i lose hope

By more, I mean like 3 for fat grafts and 2 for implants lol.

Anyone here deliberated between infra implants and fat grafts, and ended up choosing fat grafts?

I’m aware this subject is beaten to death, but am a bit anxious given surgery is a week away.

And this is my last chance to back out for an alternative.

Price is not an issue. I just want my lower eye area to be beautiful

If I were you I would do it.

It’ll give you good infras and if u need fat graft later on just do it then (if even necessary at all).

For implants Pags is probably as good as you can get.

Is the bone good but ur low in fat in the under eyes? Get fat graft

They are only about 3mm recessed
