I heard CompSci is a saturated field , is it true that you can make more money in Finance ?
are computer science jobs' boring & you work only with femcels ?

I'd say finance but you need computer science as a secondary skill though. Its called upskilling & are required of all finance professionals.

Goes on incel site to complain about being incel then unironically chooses the most incel career path to continue his inceldom
is finance less incel than comp sci ?

my company is crawling on it's ass throwing out money for competent people meanwhile people are writing on the internet that pajeets are going to take over every job

how many hours do u normally work in comp science , do u get bored sometimes & do u interact with people ?

i dumped medicine last year , its suicidal
If in Europe then bad choice, medical school here is finished mostly by 25 with zero debt

i know but in france there's a thing called "Paces" its a year during which u study an intro to medicine but at the end there's a hard exam , the majority fail & get dumped , i didn't want to take the risk & waste a year even though i got accepted in a pretty cool medicine uni

What do you intend to spend your money on? If you're not betabuxxing, there's negligible difference between $60k per year and $200k per year, unless you need to get some insane surgeries from top-tier doctors

everyone here is retarded. this is what it is,

finance - need to go to an elite university, and if you live in a shithole, study in a good country. - you don't need cs, you could study basket weaving at harvard if you want, you will learn most things on the job when it comes to Investment Banking. Now you could be a Quant, but that is way more intellectually challenging, you do need STEM degree, and prestige doesn't matter as much. I wouldn't go for it if you aren't naturally a math genius because that's your competition.

cs - i wouldn't say saturated, its still growing. and you could be earning peanuts or making a decent living, depends on where you get the job. ideally it would be somewhere like facebook amazon netflix google etc. incel field though, finance is one of the most chad careers - when you climb the hierarchy of finance all you do is play golf with your clients jfl.

Brainlets not allowed. That includes CS and Finance majors.

So in conclusion studying Computer Science at Harvard/MIT/Stanford/Princeton/Yale is Ideal

Yes the only good STEM fields for high paying inel jobs are either

Chemical Engineering so you can work on an Oil & Gas rig or a plant, isolated and high paid
Petrochemical Engineer at Shell ~ 130k$ / Year

Or Computer Science, ideally work in the financial sector since its so math-heavy
Quant at 2Sigma Hedgefund ~ 160k$ / Year

Finance if you're extraverted and well connected. Otherwise comp sci, it's not too saturated. You can definitely make more money in finance though.

it literally doesn't matter, this is accurate:
Finance if you're extraverted and well connected. Otherwise comp sci, it's not too saturated.
However THIS:
You can definitely make more money in finance
Is entirely wrong. Being a quant (which requires both) can easily pay as high as IB, and plenty of CS students end up in IB anyway. Ultimately it's not about your degree at all. Make sure you socialise in college. Make sure you learn how to network & how to get people to at least somewhat like you.

If it were me, I'd take comp sci & try & gauge just how high my IQ is. Everything boils down to maths, particularly statistics & algorithmic thinking, anyway.

not in the sense that physics is, but it requires good reasoning & logical thinking above all else. That isn't easy to train. Of course, it helps to be able to think like a mathematician.

not really, calc1/calc2 were not so hard, same with the discrete maths we had to do, my hardest courses were probably design and analysis of algorithms I and II + some crypto class, those were more focused on algorithmic thinking which is harder than the other math in typical cs curriculums

ya, I was probably just dumb, my first year of work I spent 10+ hours a day at work and then studied over the weekends too, it's nowhere near as bad now but there are days where my brain is fried

I'd rather do something like teaching or management or sw architect tbh, probably will in 10-15 years

Computer science is not saturated WTF.
in my university every year there are 700 students enrolled in economy/finance and just 200 students enrolled in computer science faculty

Of that 200 how many do you think finish?

I cage whenever I see ppl on 4ch or reddit or anywhere on the internet talk about indians stealing cs jobs.

Of that 200 how many do you think finish?
Less than half of computer science students reaches the 3-year degree (bachelor).
The situation is even worse for computer engineering bachelor students, where people quitting are even more.
Among people who get the bachelor, again less than half goes for the Master of science

that is hyperbole but its a justified argument for the software industry though. Outsourcing it to India and Philippines has become a huge trend. They might as well be 21st century air conditioned sweatshops now.
