I lost almost everything. I went from 125k net to 21k net due to the leverage.

But I was never reliant on this money, I never used it for anything. And there is still enough left to go on holidays for and give me financial security.
But it's still a terrible thing because I was using the money I was making with my investing to feel better about myself. In my mind I am a worthless loser and this money was a counter-argument against those thoughts: 'You're not a loser, you have 125k. People your age don't have that kind of money. Don't feel like a loser.'
This coping method is now destroyed and it has crippled my mental-health in a way that was unforeseen: I knew I could lose all this money, I knew I didn't use this money, but my self-esteem relied on it and that is now crippled.

But I will survive. It has put focus back on finding other ways to improve my self-esteem as now, becoming a millionaire through leveraged stock-investing to boost my self-esteem, is no longer an option.
Or well, I will continue investing like this, it's just that the time-table of success has now clearly shifted where I can no longer rely on this to happen within the next few years and I need another strategy.

But

Every single index will fall mark my words. And the way Trump is talking about how tge markets will rebound, I can tell you that not a single person in the Congress has any idea how to bring the economy back from this free fall

But
If you think you’re so ugly why didn’t you get surgery with all that money you had while you still had it

If you think you’re so ugly why didn’t you get surgery with all that money you had while you still had it
cuz it's a mental problem and not a looks problem

the only surgery I need is a brain-transplant.

Did you close the positions or they are still open?
everything is open and still on max leverage.

It's just that my position is now 22k x 3.3(Max leverage). Instead of 125k x 3.3.

Every dollar I make, I put back into the market and times 3.3x. Say my position is 100k total, I go up by 1% that's 1k? Then I buy another 3.3k in stock.
This strategy made my money go 8x in 2024. The power of leverage. I will continue to use it.

What were your main stocks?
Yesterday the fake news about 90-day delay of tariffs cause a massive spike of american market only to fall again not so long after that when it was debunked, pure manipulation. Such spikes are often due to algotrading systems monitoring Twitter and then violently starting buying/selling.

TSMC mainly
and then some google and amazon.
Position is still the same.

I get margin calls about 10-20 times per month, which gives me a deadline of when I need to adjust my position before it's closed by my broker due to being beyond what is allowed. That's when I sell some stuff to fullfill this demand.

Otherwise I just check like 2-3 times per week and when I see that I made money, I buy more stock to again be on max leverage.

The interest on my margin-loans is paid for by the profit from my investments. If there's no profit on a particular month I sell some stock to pay for it.

Good for youngcels like me, with recession comes a long period of prosperity so by the time I’m out of college it’ll probably be easier for me to get a tech job. Good job trump

But
Yes, it's essential sto shift strategy according to market sentiment, If it is one that only work in a certain "weather".
I wish you luck on your journey to self actualization, keep fighting.
We're all going to make it
