its deadly to cats in even small amounts. i dont want to risk that
If you can’t do basic research on minox then you probably shouldn’t be buying prescription medication off market.

You’re recommending that a 17 year old use an experimental topical anti androgen?

I don’t get what’s wrong with minox for a year? It’s off the counter, safe and ensures no hormonal disruption at the tail end of puberty.

because it does nothing against aga?
It prolongs the anagen phase which is enough to massively slow it down for probably a few years.

And I’m just saying wait a year so that there’s no disruption of puberty.

There’s no weighing of risks vs benefits here.

I did not know the context of it, if he is mid-end 17 he should use both

Topical minoxidil + finasteride

I’m just saying get to 18 and run zero risk of disrupting any final stage DHT induced pubescent development.

Then hop on finasteride. I know thresholds are blurry but why even take the risk unless it’s super severe?

True. I wouldn’t stop him even if I could.
I just think users on this forum suffer from an inability to at least weigh the risks against the benefits.

In some countries you can get Proscar without prescription, just cut the pill in 1/4 and keep them in an airtight vial/container
