Posting here cause I couldn't find it anywhere but apparently it's a not unusual side effect of finasteride

that shit basically workd like isetretinoin/accutane because my scalp produces almost no oil and I didnt wash my hair with shampoo since over 2 weeks but 2 times with conditioner. I was working out yesterday so I sweat a lot and then walked 2 hours in rain later on and I washed my hair with water today and its literally normal and thick asf but doesn't look geeasy at all

same shit for my skin. I literally dont even wash my skin at night anymore yet my acne is almost gone. I had such a stacked skincare routine but Ima tell my lil bros to use that shit instead but

FINASTERIDE IS AMAZING THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE LITERALLY PROS

Love finasteride. Anyone who can't take that drug should just reincarnate

Same thing happened to me. Finasteride killed persistent post puberty acne.

same, ill still do an accutane cycle to make sure it never comes back doe

persistent post puberty acne, thats the shit I have but didnt know the name of the condition in English. my sister is the same and she is like 32. I wonder if nuking her dht would do the same thing

but do you still use shampoo to get rid of greasy hair? even if I put some hair oil in the other days its not greasy on the next day jfl

fin + accutane? so you want to permanently get rid of oil production? is there any science behind that? cause tbh I want to nuke my oil production now that I feel how amazing it is lol it also saves me like 30-50€ the month on products I dont have to buy anymore lmao

nah, i dont think fin is all that effective at reducing sebum production. im currently using epiduo bc i wanna go outside during the summer, but ill get acne and scars addressed in autumn/winter with accutane and shit like subcision, laser etc. respectively. basically if you wanna get rid of acne, get something thats actually made to help with acne like epiduo or accutane

I just called it that. Don't think that's a technical term or anything.

It's possible but female DHT levels tend to be an absolute fraction of male levels.
but do you still use shampoo to get rid of greasy hair? even if I put some hair oil in the other days its not greasy on the next day jfl
Can't say I've noticed a difference but I shampoo everyday so I probably can't make a fair comparison.

I get what youre saying but I had a different image of acne in my mind. I have like 3 little spots on my face but I hate it if I have anything on my face at all. roght noe its clear, texture could be better but zero acne, just some very small pimple spots lol

but if you have more acne definitely go for it, I would have taken accutane too but I cant get the topical version in germany jfl and (((they))) will only prescribe one package for a month for like 60-90€ so I just stick to water and moisturizer now, my skinhas never been cleaner in the past 2 weeks

The chance of sides is about the same but it's theorized that since for dut it takes longer to buildup in the system unlike fin the body has more time to adapt to it. There's also stories on tressless about dut ruining their hair but sounds like tales to me.

deadass? i dont think its so expensive here in cz, either way its still pretty cheap, but i guess youre young. taking accutane at 16 saved my life since i had cystic acne, literally a miracle drug

I just called it that.

but before you shampoo, do you look at your hair and think 'yeah I need to shampoo it' ? cause when I noticed that my hair is not greasy at all 2 weeks ago I just used conditioner and was baffled that its still a little dry so I used some hair oil, next day I still didnt use or need shampoo and its been going on since 2 weeks. I have been on fin for a little over 2 months. weird that this side happens now but I hope it stays

yeah such a miracle drug stopped the acne that 0.1% of adults have and dried out incels unwashed stinky hair so he can shower less often wonder whats the possible payback for such amazing effects

try getting epiduo, even your family doctor can prescribe it (at least in cz but pretty sure its similar in germany), and it actually contains both benzoyl peroxide AND adapalene which is a retinoid (same class of meds as tretinoin, but it can be combined with benzoyl peroxide, unlike tretinoin). adapalene gives me glass skin and prevents breakouts, just make sure you apply epiduo to your entire face every evening. i also recommend getting some anti-microbial face wash at the pharmacy for like 10 eur, along with a good spf like la-roche posay uvmune 400. and use effaclar h, or something comparable for hydration if treating for acne

so you dumb subhuman faggot got finasteride for ur acne instead of tretinoin-accutane?
no, i already took accutane when i was 16 so my acne is very mild now nigger. i take fin for hair-loss prevention and its contributed to further reducing my already mild acne along with the epiduo i use on my face. i will, however have to take accutane again as addressing acne scars requires no acne whatsoever

are you on finasteride? idk if I read your com correct but it seems like youre low key hating lmao

fin is literally a miracle drug to me snd I love the few side effects I get ngl. If youre not part of the unlucky <3% of people who get sides then I get but if you see the people on post finasteride syndrome people you realise that they are all genuinely just tweaking lol and I wanna spread the opposite awareness that finasteride is a must have if you wanna looksmsx

hair is one of the big laws

that shit costs 40€ and if I dont get it prescribed by my doctor I have to pay 25€ for a prescription :ogre:

thanks for the other information bhai, I try to getthat cheaper and make an appointment with a dermatologist cause my doctor doesn't prescribe me SHIT lmao

do you have a micro bacterial face wash that you use or can recommend. ? is there any ingredient that I should look for or are they all generic and the same ?

I use spf suncreen even if Im at home the whole day sunscreen is the finasteride of skincare imo

What moisturizer do you use? I feel like if you use these producing your skin is gonna be really dry, do you use hyalurone serum?

Thanks!

interesting, I switched to only conditioner cause my hair is really dry now, do you use shampoo and then some conditioner?
