Topical Finasteride still goes systemic to quite a significant extent.
Topical Dutasteride on the other hand, does not as much, from what I've read. I will continue to research though there is minimal literature because topical Dutasteride is only used off-label for hair loss.
Pretty sure 0.2-1mg of Fin were just as efficacious for hair loss as 5mg/day. But I recall Derek MPMD talking about how people should take 0.5mg/day if using it to prevent MAA progression.

Genuine side effects from fin/dut are honestly so rare it's negligible. Whatever side effects you're experiencing are more likely to be placebo than genuine

and also fin/dut side effects are very rare, and most people who report them could be through increased estrogen conversion which is very easy to control via ais

What is MAA? and i think even 0,1 mg have side effect i would argue that even if topicsl go into the body is far safer for PFS which is the worst things that can happen to you if you take fin

Fatigue Less sperm , no sexual desire sucide thought/depression
For me fatigue was the more noticeable because i would litteraly fall asleep without wanting it and like my eyes would close themself whenever i was sitting somewhere

@Sociallyautistic how long have you been on? If it's less than 2 weeks keep going, if they insist stop and start ru. Finesteride side effects are known for going away shortly after stopping it.

fin and dut still have side effects its just very rare, OP if the fin sides are getting too brutal then switch to ru58841. have the sides went since you stopped taking it?

No unfortunatly idk how to know if i have pfs . What is ru58841 never heard of that is it a dht blocker?
