this is 7 months after marpe the line is still looks prominent

and this is now: 1 year and 6 months after marpe, the line dissappeared (suture ossified?)

ive found many examples like this
before palate expander :noline at all)
Palate

after:

Unnaa

Could the "line" show that your suture is ossified or not?
maybe if its still prominent you can move your maxilla because its not ossified ?
this is 100% just a theory i havent read one study which includes this

marpe obviously causes soft tissue to stretch as well, that's what's responsible for the line

the line indicates that expansion HAS occurred, not necessarily that it can STILL occur

so yes and no

the problem is, perhaps the line is so prominent with marpe patients bc expansion happens relatively quickly

if mewing does work, it's a slow process. so the soft tissue may not display such obvious signs of stretching/ strain. idk tho

I don’t just have a line I have a literal cut there. Idk if that means anything. I was told it’s doesn’t, and it just a mimic of a procedure performed before MSE to loosen the maxilla. I’ve been mewing for a month so far so no results obviously.

So you're getting MSE as well as marpe¿ Why's that? Your doc would only allow so much expansion and you're trying to max expand for giga zygo increase??
