This thread is a guide which also shares my experience for anyone planning on using UC (Ultrasonic Cavitation).
Yesterday I did UC for the first time. Overall it wasn’t a horrible experience but definitely wasn’t enjoyable. I used the Freyara 40Khz UC machine on the lowest intensity on my facial fat more specifically on my submental and buccal region.

1: Machine introduction
The Freyara machine had 5 intensity levels in total. I started with the first / lowest level and will progress in intensities as I do more sessions. As you can see I had the machine on the lowest intensity and its cavitation effect on water was as shown.
IMG 6690

For reference here’s the cavitation difference at maximum intensity which I did NOT do due to it being my first session and I'm planning on going up 1-2 intensities each session.
IMG 6691

2: Starting steps
After assessing the different machine intensity levels I started by marking my face with a blue marker on the regions where I’d want to use the machine then followed with a thick layer of ultrasound gel.

IMG 6682

3: Treatment initiation
I started by doing 10 minutes on each cheek and submental region which totalled to 30 minutes. I never stayed in the same spot for more then 5 seconds and I would always slowly move rotating spots slightly. One issue I noticed is how loud it was, I ended up receiving bad hearing effects for the following 3 days. The effects on my ear from the treatment wasn't necessarily painful however it did give me a weird hearing difficulties almost as if I had water in my ears, my sound quality was slightly muffled. Please note I had no issues in my submental region.
I have heard it is due to getting close to the facial bones however in my opinion I never got close to them, I was always within my circled fat regions and would also smile or puff out my cheeks to get more pure fat isolation which unfortunately didn't benefit my problem much.
If theirs any advice for the hearing issue please let me know.

4: Background information / Tips

85% of the fat will be channelled via the lymphatic system so make sure to implement proper lymphatic drainage techniques. Personally I drunk lots of water pre, post and intra treatment, slept with my head slightly more elevated then usual and boosted my intake of potassium. Basically implicate debloating tactics. Also do not do treatment daily I recommended once a week or once a fortnight.
if I Missed anything please feel free to tell me as I am looking to learn as well.

5: machine and equipment I purchased

6: Conclusion
Based on my first session, ultrasonic cavitation should be approached with caution however practically every thread about it mentions the risks. Whilst there may be potential benefits, there are also risks such as temporary hearing disturbances. If you plan on using UC, start conservatively and prioritize lymphatic support. I’ll update this thread as I gain more experience.

First ever proper thread, I apologise for improper formatting.

No its not

UC is riskier in that area by far

stick to aqulayx if you can

Ive heard about it can you perhaps tell me how to do so because I dont go on my jaw/ zygo region anyways so would the cardboard still be beneficial?

There is already threads on here that could give you a great explanation

I'm to sleep deprived to look for it today:feelswhy:

3 times a week and a hot temperature is ideal yes?

I feel like this will be the new ascension method of 2025. I need to make sure not to go over my chin and midface filler and i should mog

Ive never heard the 3x a week recommendation I do believe 1x a week is ideal, for the hot temperature I don't believe it goes of temperature for maximum benefits its the cavitation strength but the higher strength the more hotter the machine head does get.

hella mirin, you have a good base so this could ascend you like crazy, i found out about UC on the face from tiktok this week and had already been seeing a bit of it but after more research just found out how insane the results can actually be, but I found out too late, i got buccal fat removal 3 weeks ago, still interested in seeing how effective this method is tho, it's great how you're recording everything best of luck, hollow cheeks mog
