Fixing dark elbows

I was scouring the internet for answers and found a Reddit post asking how to get rid of the dark elbows..

These examples above are similar to my situation, so I found a potential fix on Reddit but I need a second opinion from people on here.

If you have had any experience with these products I would love to know your thoughts on them.

If there are any other fixes for this that you know then they will be welcomed.

Hydroquinone gave me a good result for me face wise. I just applied it with tretinoin and went to bed. Pretty sure the same principle applies here, stick to 5% tho as high concentrations are supposed to be carcinogenic.

Did it help to balance out skin tone on ur face?
If so then that is great as I need to sort that out

well it does happen in white people too but its more of a pinkish hyperpigmentation

4%, mb. I got results in around 5 weeks as I am a fairly light-skinned indian. Went from near fitzpatrick 4 to fitzpatrick 2.

Did it help to balance out skin tone on ur face?

Yes this was great on that regard. Azeliac acid is also good but OTC concentration is not as strong and if you are buying from india, you can just buy this anyway. Only concern is that it doesn't smell good at all, maybe I got a bad batch but idk

hydroquinone, tret, sunscreen and that was it. My result isn't really valid though cuz both my parents are around fitzpatrick 2 anyway (well dad is 3) and I just had a really shitty tan.

Did the smell stay on you even after washing?

And when applied onto your face was there a clear difference between face colour and body colour because I only want it to even out my skin tone instead of lightening it too much.

I washed in the morning and the smell went away.

There wasn't too clear of a difference and most normies wont notice anyway, my hands are stereotypical dalit colored and my face is pretty much white and no one cares. Need to start using kojic acid tho for the body.
