Flaky nose on hydrocortisone

Every time I use hydrocortisone on my nose my skin starts to flake, any way to stop this or do I have to deal with it till I finish using?

use it on a cycle w a week on and off and only use it on the bulbous part of ur nose, ur skins prolly thinning
