At times, we get dragged away, by worldly things, wether that be, looks, jealousy of others, school, work, these are all worldly things that pass away, in this community, we tend to focus a lot on looks, our bodies, worldly things. making this our only focus in life, looking good, wether it be to get girls, or to “outshine” other people, or just as simply to be confident.
I don’t want to make this about why these things are wicked, I want everyone to focus on the true message.
At the end of the day, we all wither away, we are made from dirt, we return to dirt, there’s only one thing that truly matters at the end of all of this, and it’s our relationship with Christ, Jesus loves you, I know this is heard a lot, preached a lot, shared without true intent, a phatic expression, if you may, and at time we dismiss what this Love means, and what this means to us, Jesus loves us so much, that he let himself be killed, when he didn’t do anything, he was just sharing the truth, and they decided to kill him, he let himself be killed, so we didn’t have to be.
People wonder, why death? Why is death the answer,
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
We are all sinners, we will all die, we were meant to never die.
In ancient times, they gave the life’s of pure animals as sacrifice, they killed these animals, as repayment of their sins, instead of them being stricken down right there and then, this was only temporary, for the pure lamb of God (Jesus) was the eternal sacrifice for our sins, by believing in him, we are accepting this sacrifice, we are accepting eternal salvation.we are all sinners, but in Christ, we are washed away of our sins, his blood cleans us.
God loves each and every one of us, there’s a reason why we say our Father who art in heaven, Our Heavenly Father loves us, as a father loves their kid.
