if anything BDD is usually fairly rational. you see these hot chicks go "WTF my nose makes me soooo UGLY!!!!" when in reality they aren't ugly, but it is true that their nose is not the best it could be. so they basically go spastic thinking they are ugly because of one feature, which is just OCD. OCD is primarily focusing on things that while rational should not be obsessed over, and in society normies are taught not to obsess over their bodies because all bodies matter. BDD is cope, BDD is just OCD with a different name to help mental normies cope, in reality if you have a bad feature you should WANT to fix it
