This clip of clavicular reminded me on how low iq the average American actually is for genuinely believing basketball is harder than european football.
We are born manipulating objects with our hands, not with our feet. Seeing this from a developmental point of view, the hands are simply our primary tools, we grab, throw, point, push.. with them from a very early age. Because of that, basketball simply benefits from our already existing motor function. Even someone who has never played basketball has already practiced similar actions thousands of times in daily life: throwing objects, catching, pushing things away... Thats why a person can be mediocre at basketball without prior experience but simply terrible at football.
Yet, everytime I see a debate on this matter, no one points this out… (at least from what I’ve seen)
