For those who had a good bite and underwent bimax, did you need braces before or after surgery

i have a good bite but will need braces at some point to fix mild crowding and some mal rotated teeth
should i expect to need braces before or can i get away with after

Slight crowding and a very small posterior open bite, was told it was fixable with Invisalign/braces after the surgery.

Didn’t get them yet I’m still in the process of getting surgery.

And I don’t “need” them I’d only be getting them for an aesthetic improvement, my bite is good enough pre-surgery and post-surgery.
