Ionly started with 0,025% as a precousion since i never used retinoids on my face, for 4 months i worked up to every other night with no side effects from the beginning of use, literally 0 shedding or purge but now that i upped my dose to 0,05% the peeling and purging stage started and i am glad it did since it shows that the drug is doing it's job, the black heads started coming to surface and small breakouts in my usual spots. Bottom line - start with 0,05% and slow with a sandwich method (moisturizer-tret-moisturizer) and cicaplast b5 cream in the morning.
Every skin is different but majority of young men won't have problems with 0,05% tret since our skin is thicker and more durable than womens.
