1.) would be autistic to get this done if you want something a reduction of 1cm-1.5cm (0.4-0.5 inches)
2.) how long does scar take to go away? can you use verteporfin for the scar? what about last scar removal?
 
1) I mean people do get it done, but if you are experiencing or are likely to experience any balding then it's probably not the best bet when compared to a hair transplant. The best results I've seen (from men) had a hair transplant after the fact anyway - a combination of the two might be a decent approach for someone who has an absurdly large forehead.

2) This one can depend on so many factors - I've seen some have hair transplants after the fact and use the transplanted hairs to really hide the scar. I imagine verteprofin would help, but I've never seen these applied to forehead reductions.

Overall I think you'd probably be better off saving your money and just get a really solid hair transplant from a top surgeon rather than go through the forehead reduction.
