no its two cuts on either side idk the mechanisms but its only 2 cuts and it does all that while allowing oppurtunity for BSSO in future for further mandible forward projection

I havent saw an IMDO result for maxilla yet, and its quote ridicilous to stay in another country for months WHILE HEALING FROM LF1 so your mandible could grow.

Plus my jaw is not srsly narrow so bsso would be just fine

Why would you stay for months healing?

I had a patient that flew from Germany, got his IMDO distractors placed , stayed three nights in a hotel and flew back to Germany.

6 weeks later came back to get his distractors removed. Two more days in another hotel.

Not a single night in a hospital. Very few days nearby.

Oh he also flew once before to get MSE placed. We could combine both. As IMDO widens the mandible an even wider expansion of the upper jaw is needed.

Unironically MSE + LF1 than IMDO looks like a great idea now.

Shit. This is god awful, I'm setting up my Le Fort/Bimax procedure right now and I definitely wanted an IMDO too. What exactly causes the discrepancy with these two procedures? Gotta rethink the whole plan now, I definitely need width expansion too on my mandible.
