The halo effect is so brutal man. A former friend of mine got booked 2 years ago for a rape charge and even he managed to get a girlfriend. I’m not even sure why I try anymore. It’s crazy how it just got brushed over. If he was subhuman people would slash his tires or beat him up or something. There was no uproar and his current girlfriend even knows what he did and still chooses to be with him.
