I recently came across a Telegram channel run by a 15-year-old who’s documenting his so-called “looksmaxing ascension,” and honestly it’s a perfect example of what peak grey cope looks like. The guy presents himself with full confidence, analyzing every tiny facial feature like it’s make-or-break, while giving advice that sounds deep at first but completely falls apart if you think about it for more than a minute. It’s the usual pattern: overcomplicating everything, acting like small routine changes will suddenly lead to a glow-up, and framing the whole process like some kind of anime training arc.
What makes it even more absurd is that there’s barely any real progress or results to back up what he’s saying, yet he still talks like he’s figured it all out
. It’s not even about hating on him personally, it just shows how easy it is for beginners to fall into this mindset where they consume and repeat “theory” instead of focusing on actual improvement. At some point it stops being looksmaxing and turns into pure overthinking and self-delusion.
