found my sisters old isotretinoin capsules, should I take them for better skin?

I've never taken these before, but I heard they're basically a miracle drug. I have mid skin, it could always be better. Im kinda new to looksmaxxing so is 20mg a high dose for a 17 year old? should I take these even tho I wasn't prescribed them? its prob not serious but still don't wanna risk anything, advice would be appreciated

20mg is insanely low. 3g is around average. those are microdoses and she probably got ripped off

id recommend it to be fair just make sure you have enough otherwise itll come back anyways
just dont drink alcohol should be fine
lmk how many you have and just estimate via body weight as well 120-150mg per kg of body weight

dont take old ones, they decay over time. also, isotretinoin is mostly for severe acne like cystic or scarring types, not for generally better skin. remember, too much and your livers gone

It might be less effective depending on how it was stored.

It will work, just do your own research before to determine the dosing. That amount is definitely not enough to last you a full round of accutane, regardless of the duration of the round.

You need to calculate your dose based on weight. The standard dosing is 0.5-1mg per kg of your bodyweight per day.

You also need to look into the side effects so you’re not surprised if you get something you weren’t expecting.

Otherwise it is a very effective drug. Just don’t take it if you have no idea why you’re taking it.
