FL STUDIO DOWNLOAD:
VSTs YOU WILL NEED (If you plan on producing music like perc40, okaymar, and boolymon)
By the way, VSTs are virtual synthesizers or samplers that produce sound
Purity //
Purity is an essential VST if you want to make a pluggnb type beat (like Jaydes, Summrs, Autumn, etc)
PRESETS YOU WILL NEED IN PURITY: (you can locate these presets within the application, don't worry about downloading anything)
Leads: Autumn, PW for President, Simple Sine, Simple Sqr.
Keys: Tine Ep 2, Pretty Suitcase, Vintage Ep 2, Fm Tine
Bells: Vibra Handbell
Zenology //
You need this VST, which contains 100,000+ presets, if I had to choose one VST to use for the rest of my life, I would pick zenology
PRESETS YOU WILL NEED IN ZENOLOGY:
FM EP 2, FM EP 1, MK-80 EP, See-Thru EP, E.Piano 1, Steel Away (pluggnb guitar), D-50 Stack (Use this to layer your keys), SRX Orchestra (Use this as a layering preset or pad)
I'm too lazy to provide all 100 useful zenology presets, here, take a free preset bank: Trapology by Poloboyshawty
Other moderately useful VSTs:
Xpand!2 (Useful for strings and pads, also has halfway decent guitar presets)
Nexus4 (Amazing for pads)
Electra2 (Pretty decent all around)
Analog Lab 5 (I would download first this one out of the other three I listed)
Hive (The best VST for arpeggios, amazing pads, and leads as well)
VSTs included in FL STUDIO that are useful:
Sytrus
Toxic Biohazard
EFFECT VSTs YOU WILL NEED (To add effects to your music, such as reverb and distortion)
Gross Beat // (Included in FL Studio)
Gross Beat is a real-time audio manipulation effect that changes audio streams' pitch, volume, position, and playback. Just play around with this VST and see what you like.
Valhalla //
Valhalla MOGS FL Studio's default reverb, VSTS, more specifically Valhalla Shimmer, is top-tier for adding ambiance to your music. Also, download Valhalla Supermassive, it's free.
Shaperbox //
Shaperbox mogs Gross Beat in terms of functionality, Shaperbox has everything, just download it and mess around with it.
Fruity Delay // (Included in FL Studio)
Uhh, nothing much to say here, adds delay to your music.
DRUMKITS, MIXING, AND MASTERING PRESETS:
Amethyst Extended Sound Kit
Vennexi3k Drumkit (My most used Drumkit)
PLUGGNB DRUMKIT (The best Mixing/Mastering Presets)
Jerk Drumkit
THE BEST MASTERING PRESET ON EARTH
In summary, making music takes time, you won't even know what the fuck is going on when you first open FL studio or where to start, you will take around two to three weeks to learn how to even use FL studio, and you will be able to make halfway decent beats after around three months of consistently using FL Studio when you figure out how to operate the piano roll, try minor 7th/9th chords with a counter-melody, you might make something halfway okayish.
Also, you need to learn basic music theory and watch A LOT of "type beat" tutorials, I hope in the long run I create some very successful bhai's.
Uhh, here is a beat I made today
