On 2015 May 18, the Paris Criminal Court sentenced Jean-Luc Lahaye to a suspended prison year for "minor corruption". The 62-year-old artist was prosecuted for asking a girl under the age of 15 to engage in webcam sex games. He announced on Thursday that he was going to appeal the court's decision. The girl in question, Romane, who is now 17 years old, meanwhile granted an interview to Closer this week, in which she assures that the singer is not a pedophile.
Romane, who appears in the article under the name of Marie for legal reasons, denounces their "stripped private life" and "revealed personal information". She defends "the one she loves": "We accuse Jean-Luc unfairly. Everyone should know that this is serious between us, and that nobody has manipulated anyone ", adding that" love is of no age ". The girl also describes a "wonderful, honest and sincere" man. "She's not a pedophile," she exclaims.
The teenager is annoyed by all these children's advocacy groups who say they want to protect her. “I am much more attracted to mature men. I’ve always been very mature, I feel more mature than people my age and physically very female. And then, it only concerns us ... ”she explains.
As a reminder, the singer had already been sentenced in 2007 to a fine of 10,000 euros for having sex with a minor under 15 years of age.
