Depends on your goals then. Knowing russian can get you jobs in the military. It can also give you more countries to go to. (Basically all of Eastern europe) where as with French you can only go France and parts of africa.

alternatively, if you can already speak english, id just learn to code. linguistic languages are largely cope after early years. if you are going to spend time doing a intellectually strenuous activity it should be something exponentially profitable with limitless potential (coding).
